Queen of Cups - Tarot Corner

(Witch's Tarot Deck)

The Queen of Cups is the gentle nurturer. Intuition and psychic skills compliment her greatness and power. Her waters are calm and flowing softly as her emotions are well in tact and balanced. She offers others tons of love compassion, and affection without becoming smothering and suffocating. You can see the Queen of Cups as being very empathetic and sympathetic to others. She has a sixth sense connected to her environment and those around her. She is in touch with the oneness of the Universe, her ancestors and her spiritual guardians. She also has a sense of creativity and manifestation. She is beautiful and embraces her feminine energies.

Featured Herb: Copal

Keywords: Cleansing, Purify, Love, Exorcism

White Copal is one of my favorite herbs to use as a incense. It does great at uplifting the energy
within your sacred space and home. Not only does copal diminish negative energies,
it also consecrates objects and the space around you. It can be used to smudge athames,
candles and crystals. Copal is also used in protection and purification incense.
In addition to these properties listed, Copal has also been known to be used in love spells and exorcisms as well. Copal comes in a black hue as well.

The Crocodile - Tarot Corner

This card corresponds with the Fool card in the Rider-Waite tarot deck. Faith, new beginnings and a sense of folly are represented with this card. The Fool can either be at the beginning or end of the Major Arcana. In this depiction we see the fool carrying his bags while going on his journey. We also see a crocodile at his feet.

The fool feels a sense of freedom. With no particular way to go, he continues on regardless, trusting that he will end up exactly where he needs to be. The fool is a younger individual. Not very mature or very well learned, hence the sense of folly and naivety about. Even though a hint of danger is near, he has faith that he will be able to steer clear of such misfortune. This card signifies a strong faith and trust in the Universe/Higher Power. New beginnings, a new direction, an end to one phase as well as the beginning to another is indicated with this tarot card.

If this card is pulled for you in a reading, it's saying trust in your guides and guardians. Trust that you are walking the right path and that instances are aligned with your purpose.
